Fun...What a Novel Idea

Baseball has a special place in my heart starting from my memories of hitting ping pong balls with a broom stick in the middle of my grandparents room at the age of 4, all the way to the most serious and intense games of my life. Baseball is something that is so purely American and so beautiful at the same time, that one can't ignore it's impact it has had on almost every little boy and grown man at atleast one point in life. Although baseball season just finished, and yes the good ole' Yanks brought home number 27, I have decided that I'm going to start posting more about the great American past time that we all know as baseball.
Here is a great special I saw on ESPN about an innovative owner, interestingly unique player, and oddly inspirational story. It's worth the ten minutes, take my word for it.
