∞∞ Imagination is a curious thing. It is the catalyst of the mind; it transitions into style, life and adventure. Imagination can be as sporadic as a warm summer thunderstorm, or as solid as your grandmother’s cooking on a Sunday afternoon. A Focused Imagination hopes to bridge the gap between the whimsical and the practical. Enjoy our journey as we hope that it finds you in the midst of yours. Hometown History

From Home Town History

During one of my late night Ebay adventures, I came across this piece of history from my hometown in Texarkana, Texas. It's a letter from a father to his family recalling the challenges of his search for work during the Great Depression. The letterhead, from the Hotel Grim in T-town (as we call it), was a famous hotel built in 1925 that caught much of the traffic from the large train station downtown. I will add some more photos of the letter, the now abandoned Hotel Grim, and the train station at later date. Always remember and take pride in where you came from, it will always be a part of you...
